It's official!

Today I got the call I've been waiting for... my OFFICIAL job offer! I was "recommended for employment" several weeks ago, as you already know, but today HR finally called with my official offer! And I formally verbally accepted, of course. I'm going in next Tuesday for my "new hire" meeting to sign my contract, get my badge, and all that other fun stuff! My official contract starts on August 17th, but I'll start in-service on August 12th with all of the other SLP newbies in the district! :) I'm quite excited about the fact that they let new-hires opt for 13 paychecks the first year - so, my paychecks will be a little bit smaller each month, but I get my first one on August 25th (rather than September 25th)! I can't wait!!!
