Vegas Recap – Part 3 (and final)!

Monday

Our last full day in Vegas – and we I HAD to see the strip, of course! (Kerri had done it before, but she was a trooper in the 110+ degree heat!) Despite the OUTRAGEOUS heat, we spent 6.5 hours walking from one end of the strip to the other. We took the monorail up to Harrah’s and walked north to the Wynn and all the way back down to MGM. All of the hotels were GORGEOUS – my favorites were probably the Wynn and the Bellagio. The decorations inside these hotels are just amazing! Here are a few of my favorite pictures of us on the strip:

We made a much-needed pit-stop at Serendipity for my first frozen hot chocolate experience! :) To.Die.For.

Ok, enough being mean. After the strip we grabbed a delicious dinner at an Italian Restaurant in NY NY, followed by a delicious dessert we found at a little cafe: 

That night we tried our hand at our lucky horse-racing game again, where we were reunited with our casino friends! Unfortunately, NONE of us won a single quarter (rather we all lost a few and are convinced that the hotel rigged the game not to let us win anymore!). We decided to give up rather than just throw away all our previous winnings, and we went off to a bar in NY NY to have a few drinks with our casino friends, Jerry and Glenn. It was so fun! Especially when the drunk old couple at the other end of the bar (who had apparently gotten married that day) became completely wasted and couldn’t even sit properly in their chairs. We were dying of laughter watching the ridiculous pair, until they were eventually carted off in wheelchairs by security… at which point the entire bar crowd began to cheer, lol! Too funny. And that was basically the end of my Vegas trip! We headed to the airport the next morning! I had an ABSOLUTE blast and couldn’t have asked for a better time. It was truly everything I imagined and more! I WILL be going back… ASAP! Wanna join?
