EXCELLENT NEWS!!

I don't know how I forgot to post this yesterday...

We had a brief staff meeting after school to inform us that, thanks to high enrollment numbers, our school made out very well despite the budget cuts. We are losing our 1/2 time CTA (campus technology assistant), but beyond that, ALL teachers, TAs and other staff at my school will keep our jobs!!

I'm feeling incredibly blessed and thankful, albeit sad for those at other PISD schools who were less fortunate than we were.
